I’m working on my own indie game, but I am very new to all of this. I was wondering if you could explain how you created the map and if it would be possible to create one in Unity. I like the idea of having a 1 to 1 scale of the Earth and if you could just say how you made the map that would be awesome.
The world is a subdivided icosahedron. It’s probably possible to create something like it in Unity, but it would probably be quite difficult. I’d recommend taking a look at Dave’s explanation for why he wrote his own engine.
